Thanks for your comment, Jamie. The wall you're speaking of, which hangs over the living room was only used in POV shots from the kitchen in order to hide all the studio lighting overhead. It would have been removed for any living room scenes because, like you say, it would have been an obstruction. My purpose for including the "hanging walls" was to include as through detail as possible. Good observation. :-)

why do you have that white ceiling wall hanging down (theres 2, im talking about the one on the left) in the studio version of the brady house. im sure it wasnt there. Well not as far down as you have it. Having it that low would empede the view from the top of the stairs to the living room. Like the episode where marcia dreams about marrying a dentist. marcia is at the top of the stairs looking down into the living room, visualising her parents, etc as her married to the dentist guy. watch that episode to see, as well as other episodes where someone is at top of stairs looking down into living room. id like to see that second ceiling wall on the left be removed. ty :)

This is incredible. Thanks for something all Brady-holics can appreciate. I was also one of those people obsessed with the house, and when I was a kid watching the episodes on TV, I would stare at it during the brief moments when it appeared, trying to figure out how all the interior spaces I knew so well mapped to the outside of the house. (It wasn't until years later that I realized the inside was probably nothing like the outside!)

I think this is so fun. I was seven years old when the Brady Bunch first aired. I heard about the show from my best friend. I started to watch it and I am still enjoying the episodes on DVD. My kids are enjoying the shows also. it is fun to share something that was so great in my life with my own children. I've been a Brady Bunch fan since the first episode I watched.
